What we are looking for:

  • This opportunity is open to clinical and non clinical deputies
  • Someone who is committed to caring and understands person centred care
  • An individual who is kind, compassionate and treats others with respect
  • Someone with strong leadership skills who is able to convey direction and empathy
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage several priorities simultaneously

 

Do you have the following?:

  • Previous management experience in adult social care settings, including medication management
  • Good knowledge of quality and clinical governance best practices
  • The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team
  • Experience of promoting a caring and friendly environment where the philosophy of person-centred care is at the heart of everything you do, including the empowerment of residents to fully participate in all decisions relating to them
  • The ability to form relationships with a wide range of people, including residents and their families, the home team and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
